Mary Adelaiye ft. Femi Coker – Ire Tomiwa

This spontaneous song; Iretomiwa (goodness cometh to me)was received waking up one morning just as I openeds my eyes from sleep with the confirming scripture being Psalm 23 vs 6. We did the studio recording of my part and brother Femi Coker went to do his part at a later time. He sang the body of the song from the scripture that was laid on my heart when it was received without prior information. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow you all of the days of your life.

Mary Bosede Olufunmilayo was born in Kogi State, Nigeria some decades ago. She attended Kaduna Polytechnic, Kaduna then Bayero University, Kano and recently Afe Babalola University, Ado Ekiti.

Mary gave her life to Jesus Christ in 1987 and immediately was admitted as one of the pioneer members of the Agape Faith band at the living faith church, Bauchi. She became the first band leader and later that if the combined church choir until 1994.
Mary proudly tells sweet experiences of her worship lifestyle to include comfort, direction, confident assurance, healing, instructions in righteousness and unquantifiable blessings.

In her own words; “I receive and write my songs”. Some of her early songs include El-shaddai, heavy downpour which were among the favourites at the Living Faith church then.

During one of her private worship and prayer times in the early 20s, she received a new song. While singing it in adoration to God, He said to her ” this shall be the title of the album”. In obedience to this instruction, she released her first album titled”Amen” in 2005. She has released three other albums since then.

This spontaneous song, Iretomiwa (goodness cometh to me) is from her fourth album. You shall have whatsoever you say in Jesus name.
Have a glorious year
